I have changed the st multi sensor to a smartsense garage door multi sensor and created a virtual momentary switch that trigers the linear device.

It looks like my current garage door opener is failing and as i replace it i would like to get something that works with smartthings. I have been using the linear fs20z 1 zwave controller with a smartthings multisensor to control my garage door. In looking at the works with smartthings page it seems that there isn t an opener that inherently connects to smartthings as there are only 2 add on devices that connect to it gocontrol and iris. Its has been working for long time now but was wondering if there is a better setup i should have.

After installing the relay switch in your garage and placing a smartsense multi on your garage door which senses if the door is open or close you ll be able to trigger your garage door to automatically open close when you arrive leave. Lol it is a single car garage. 4 routines 1 for open and 1 for close for each door 2 switch activates home phrase smartapp setups to tie the switch to the routine.
